Chess is an exciting game full of quick and smart moves. You will have to knock of weaker soldiers working your way to the harder ones. Maybe you might have to lose one pawn to take two. This game you need stratagem and sometimes brute force. Here are some rules:

Castle's go in the bottom two corners.
The knights or horses go just one spot inside them.
The bishops, go just inside of them.
Then the king and queen in the middle.
The queen goes on her own colour.

Castles can move in straight lines and as many spaces as they like.
Arch bishops can move diagonal- up left- up right- down left-down right.
Queens can do both what the castles can do and what the archbishops can do. Right-Left-Down-Up-Down left-down right-up right-up left.
Usually, Pawns can move up 1 space. However, when the game begins, they have the option of moving 2 spaces forward in their first move. When they are attacking they can move 1 space diagonally to capture another piece.
King can move to any space around him.
Knights go 1 space forward or backwards and 2 spaces side ways, or 2 spaces forward or backwards and 1 space side ways.
