Battle Ship

Will he hit? Will he hit? Phew! Just missed. Now which one should i shoot at.

Game: BattleShip
Number of Players: 2 players
Materials:The Battle ship game or paper version

Game Play

There are two different ways to play the game, battle ship. I will first describe Battle Ship using a box set.
First
You divide up the ships in the set.

Second
You place your ships on the grid. They cannot go diagonal, so put them horizontal or vertical. Don't let the other player see your ships the whole game.

Third
Player 1 starts. He picks one spot on the grid (eg E6)and calls out, "E6". The second player needs to say if he has a ship on E6. If he has, he would say "hit". If a ship wasn't there he would say, "miss".

If Player 1 was successful, that player gets to shoot again. If the shot missed, it is Player 2's turn.

Fourth
Here are some more rules for the game battle ship.

  • -After a player has lost a ship he has to take it of the grid.
  • -When one player loses all his ships, the game is over.
  • -The top part of your grid is to mark where you have shot. So use it if you want.
    Have heaps of fun!

An exciting game of battle ship.

This is the second way to play the game Battle Ship.

    Game: BattleShip
    Number of Players: 2 players
    Materials:Paper, Ruler, Pencil

    First
You need to fold the paper in half. You need to make your grid, 9 by 9 with the help of a pencil and a ruler. You both should decide how many ships there should be and what sizes they should be.

    Second
On the bottom half of your sheet of paper, you mark where you want your ships to be. They cannot go diagonal, so they must be marked either horizontal or vertical. Don't let the other player see your ships the whole game.

    Third
Player 1 starts. He picks one spot on the grid. (eg E6) He tells the other player "E6" and Player 2 must indicate if he is shot or not. Player 1 needs to mark it on the top of his paper - either a hit (colour the square) or a miss (X).

The game continues until one person has sunk the whole fleet of Battleships.

    Have heaps of fun!

This is a great game to play in the car or anywhere, since you can make it up on the spot.
